The near Real Time Atmosphere Model Based on the Gnss and the Meteorological Data from the Ground Base Augmentation System Asg-eupos

چکیده
GNSS meteorology is the remote sensing of the atmosphere (particularly troposphere) using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) to deliver information about its state. The two currently available navigation satellite systems are the Global Positioning System (GPS) and the GLObal’naya NAvigatsionnaya Sputnikovaya Sistema (GLONASS) maintained by the United States and Russia, respectively. The Galileo navigation satellite system, which is under supervision of the European Space Agency (ESA), is expected to be completed within the time frame of few years. Continuous observations from GNSS receivers provide an excellent tool for studying the earths atmosphere. The GNSS meteorology has reached a point, where there is a need to improve methods not only to compute Integrated Water Vapor over the GNSS receiver, but also to investigate the water vapor distribution in space and time (4DWVD). Since 2008, the new national permanent GNSS network ASG-EUPOS (98 stations) has been established in Poland. 17 Polish stations equipped with GNSS receivers and uniform meteorological sensors work currently in the frame of the European Permanent Network. This paper presents the concept and preliminary results of the integrated investigations for NRT atmosphere model construction based on the GNSS and meteorological observations from ASG-EUPOS stations.

Near real-time estimation of water vapour in the troposphere using ground GNSS and the meteorological data
The near real-time (NRT) high resolution water vapour distribution models can be constructed based on GNSS observations delivered from Ground Base Augmentation Systems (GBAS) and ground meteorological data. Since 2008 in the territory of Poland, a GBAS system called ASGEUPOS (Active Geodetic Network) has been operating. This paper addresses the problems concerning construction of the NRT model ...
متن کاملEvaluation of RTKLIB's Positioning Accuracy Using low-cost GNSS Receiver and ASG-EUPOS
The paper focuses on a comparison of different positioning methods provided by free and open source software (FOSS) package called RTKLIB. The RTKLIB supports real‐time and post‐processed positioning. The most important modes of operation tested by the authors are Kinematic, Static, Fixed and Precise Point Positioning (PPP). The data for evaluation were obtained ...

متن کاملReal-Time Kinematic Network of Tehran, from Design to Application
Following the request of the Tehran municipality and in order to provide the spatial information required in their various projects, a real-time kinematic network has been designed for Tehran. Based on the existing measures such as the dilution of precision at the network point positions, two different designs have been proposed. A minimum number of six GNSS stations are used in both of the pro...
متن کاملThe Impact and Mitigation of Ionosphere Anomalies on Ground-Based Augmentation of GNSS
This paper describes the impact that extreme ionospheric spatial gradients occurring during severe ionosphere storms have on GNSS Ground Based Augmentation Systems (GBAS) and how the U.S. Local Area Augmentation System (LAAS) mitigates the integrity risk due to these events. Gradients in slant ionosphere delay of as large as 425 mm/km over baselines of 40 – 100 km have been observed in CONUS du...
